A few things about myself:
I’ve been interested in documenting life with a camera since I was a young child.
This hobby has turned into a profession where I now share my passion through photographing people, documenting events, and shooting still-life images.
I’m married with a teenage daughter and college-age stepson and we have a rescue dog, Maggie.
I live on the Central Coast of California in the city of San Luis Obispo.
I give back to my community in many ways, and over the past decade, I co-founded two programs, one adopted by our county’s Food Bank, GleanSLO, and a non-profit, SLO Grown Kids.
Passionate about promoting our local farms, as a volunteer, I document harvesting in fields and orchards. Volunteers work together locally to rescue food that would otherwise go to waste to feed people in need. My family was one of the first to glean fruit from our neighborhood trees when we formed our local gleaning effort, and now the total amount of produce harvested is over 900,000 pounds, donated to our county’s food bank.
